Religious edifices: Like all cities in India, Mumbai too has its share of religious fervour reinforced by its many temples, the most notable being the Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple is serene and beautiful and a must visit for its popularity. Other famous temples in Mumbai include the ISKCON Temple, Hedavde Mahalaxmi Temple, Mahalakshmi Temple and Babulnath Temple. Another religious place to visit is the Haji Ali Dargah. This white shrine stands on an island in the sea and the remains of the Muslim saint Haji Ali are said to be here.

Bustling beaches: If you just want to soak in the lively and bustling spirit of the city head to the Juhu beach, and enjoy a fun filled evening at the chowpatty. You will get to spend time amidst the locals and also enjoy the lip smacking local snacks like bhel-puri, sev- puri, paav-bhajji etc. You can also visit the Marine Drive to watch the beautiful sunset. If shopping is your cup of tea then visit the Colaba Causeway, Linking Road or Crawford Market. You will find souvenirs, cheap clothes and accessories here.
